
Functional Training
Between the months of October and May we have facilities for the development of this training modality as a complement to the work done in the water. Focused on developing the technical and physical potential of the surfer, regular practice of this type of training presents several benefits to the performance of the student in and out of water improving his muscular balance, his posture, weight control, movement efficiency, static and dynamic balance, promoting the use of motor coordination strength, peripheral resistance, laterality, flexibility, proprioception and injury reduction. This training consists of several equipment: platforms of imbalance (surfset and bosu), elastics, dumbbells, balls (medicinal and pilates), skates, among others.
The trainings are performed once a week in a post-work schedule and have an hour in duration.
